I agree with you, but there is no one to blame but Pep who took the LW position from Sane and gave it to Sterling.

Too much focus on this thread on negatives but Raz is joint top scorer for us in the league and 2nd of assists.

His form hasn't been the best this season but he only Kev has more goal involvements.

Raz causes opponents problems and he quite clearly gets the positional play game that City play, which is why Pep keeps picking him. There's nothing more tiresome on this forum than people thinking they remotely know better than Pep who should be in the team.

There comes a point where you'd think Pep maybe knows what he's doing picking him all the time.

Which is so bizarre as he can't trap a ball, his 1st touch is awful and almost always leads to him having to tackle to keep hold of it.

He can really only score tap in's as anything from 8+ yards out he struggles with and he can't score when through on goal.

Other than that he's top.

99 goals and 55 assists under Pep according to the breaking stats thread 8 more than any other player. Wish he could trap a ball though.

Good thing he got his goal in the first as he pissed me off no end. Now admittedly due to his right footedness, he has a more difficult task than Foden in this setup, but still the difference was too visible. He lost the ball a couple of times when we've just setup well for a string of passes and an eventual chance, that would possibly at the very least prevent a counter. Instead, he 'started' a couple of Burnley attacks which could have caught us by surprise. Luckily, Burnley are shit at such thing but still.

Better in the second, in all fairness.

I'm with you apart from the "it doesn't bother me" part. It drives my absolutely bonkers. Our finishing in 1 on 1 situations is fucking diabolical (and it's not just Sterling). If someone like Vardy can score 9 times out of 10 in such situations why for us is it zero out of 10???
