We play completely differently and rarely have the space to use a winger like him

your right the setup's are different ? but your attuite and willingness to run the hard yards are the same
sterling just does not look happy at manchester city and losing his first team place last season was the last straw and he wants out.

if we can get good money for him and he can get a move he wants then ok thank you and good luck

I bet you that we won't get what you and I would call "good" money for him. 40m, tops. We're hopeless at getting good money for outgoing transfers.

Its the one position he’s ever been consistently impactful in - Pep stitched him up signing Mahrez and moving him to the left, where his limitations are exposed. The best football we have played under Guardiola was with Sane and Sterling providing natural width, and it’s something we could replicate with Sterling and Foden.
He had a great season on the left, the difference between that season and this is the difference between England and City. He needs a centre forward to play alongside. If he stays he’ll get one. If he decides to move on good luck to him, but he has hardly been stitched. up by Pep.

yep

we will be taken to the cleaners again ? unless newcastle want him then he's world class and bang in form £70million

Making our money back basically on someone we have had their best years from is good business. Why would you sit him in the stands with a 100m price tag. Get the 40m and it can be reinvested. He has already paid back the initial fee and then some.

i think the big misses sterling makes is why pep has had enough of him ?
the next level pep talked about when he first come to city and talked about winning champions league is the reason sterling is not in pep plans anymore. you only get one chance in the champions league and have to take it or should i say pep feels you will take that one chance ?

i don't know why for the life of me pep put sterling back in the starting line up in champions league final ?
changing back to the old setup after winning the QF/SF was a puzzle and a shock

Like anybody else, he’s worth what somebody will pay. He isn’t going to want to go to Newcastle and his form hasn’t been good enough to interest the big clubs.

Chelsea got 500 billion for David Luiz. There's no reason we shouldn't get the same for another out-of-favor-on-high-wages player of ours.

yes he has better attitude of England but even then did you see his final output yesterday laughably bad. he gets into good position because of his speed and then has a technique worse than a pub player at the final end. his lack of technique is why he will never be a pep player and why he is not good enough for manchester city. we need someone with both pace and technique to be a forward player for us.

Or is it that “the market” doesn’t share our blue-tinted spec valuations?

If we think he’s shit, why would somebody pay £70M to take him from us?!

Also, a recent article speaks of the £400M treasure trove of talent we have sold to help fund the players we have brought in. Indeed, we were the BEST at it in the articles analysis of transfers funding clubs!
