In leading the line/occupiying the CBs i'd say so, in helping the def/mid be an outball out wide or dropping deep and laying cancelo & Gundo in on that side he was excellent today. Both did what they needed too today..

More committed and more agile than Grealish to cause problems on the left. Still think Sterlings better on the right.

At least looks like he's getting back his form and focus. It's been awhile since he does that tippy tappy t-rex movements that he does. He pressed and he was moving alot.

Pep has to figure out how to rotate Sterling Jesus Grealish and probably Foden to play wide. If we get 20-goal-a-season Sterling back, we only need a striker like Haaland and this team will be the best that it can be with the young players coming in as well.

He was the player giving the ball away, trying to see it out and he did it three times in a row in the last 10 mins before being dragged.

A step back today gave the ball away far too many times , Pep will not be happy giving cheap possession away , expect Foden back in for the Villa game.
