Fair and balanced postStandard Sterling mixed bag today really. Some great runs into space, one or two sweet passes, plenty of driving runs into the box giving defenders a problem, and of course another goal. On the other hand though, his control of the ball when running with it was customarily inadequate. Far too often promising situations die at his feet.
Seems to have his confidence back and to be enjoying himself more, which is good news for us, but he still frustrates every bit as much as he delights
The thread will go round in circles until the end of time - or at least until he leaves.There is no clearer evidence that some on here are against Sterling when you see some posters on here "upset or confused" when others are happy over his improvement in form lately, that is just insane to me.
Not a single poster said he was amazing or faultless, just that he has been better. How can you complain about that, in the words of Pep "Un-be-liev-a-ble".
