I thought it was a mixed bag.

The positives for me was that of the front 3 he was clearly the most dangerous in and around the box. He also had a hand in both goals.

The negatives were his finishing which is nothing new. He was also very lax in possession and any sniff of a Brentford counter typically involved Sterling turning over possession.

Given we didn’t create too much against a stubborn side, I think his involvement in both goals holds more weight.

Wasteful, less wasteful than Grealish was last game who he replaced on the left though and generally was our best threat going forward, largely average like the rest of the attack but he did get us the crucial penalty which opened up the game for us.
