I believe a lot have missed the post as well, and it’s no worry.Thanks. I wasn't even aware it was for family reasons, which would had sufficed.
The ins and outs of what it was about are not my business

I'll let him know that he has to ask your permission next time he wants to avoid a trophy presentation or club do and I'll mind on to tell him that he needs to smile more when we score. Many of us have had work events we didn't fancy going to, and have had some other "family commitments" to allow us get out of them.
Apparently Jesus's partner was expecting a baby the day of the parade? Maybe fair enough?
I have not actually heard what Sterling's family issue actually was?
Like I said before it's up to him, but it's not good for squad togetherness going forward.
Yes I see him better on the right wingThe big difference for me in the passage of play was he beat his man, was running into space and on his favoured right foot. He didn't have to overthink it, or cut back inside. He was able to just execute a fantastic cross.
He beats his man like that on the left, and it means he either has to try and cross with his left foot, or if he has beaten his man on the inside, he is inevitably running into more traffic instead of space.
Obviously being on the right means he is less likely to cut inside and score, but its not like he was doing that every week on the left anyway. Plus I think he will more than make up for that with getting in at the far post on the right for a tap-in.
I just hope that next season Pep sees him as a RW/F, who can do a job across the other front positions when/if needed but primarily he is our RW/F.
Or maybe, you know like was reported, he was with his family.I think your comment is a strange one, it's a public forum we are all entitled to our opinions.
Please add me to your ignore list if you don't like my comments. :-)
Not sure what these "simple facts" you refer to?
I have seen with my own eyes, what I view as his lack of involvement with the post match squad celebrations. He didn't show to the after party celebration or open bus parade. The official City public announcer at the celebration assumed he was there and embarrassingly introduced him on stage!
Maybe he simply didn't fancy being there? He's done a few now and knows the script, that's entirely up to him. IMO it's not ideal for squad "togetherness" going forward.
Sterling had an important contribution for the first goal with a peach of a cross for Gundogan.
However there was a reduction in his match minutes in important games at the end of the season. I trust in Pep and his team to make the right calls.
Because it’s a private matter? Why do you have to know the exact reason he wasn’t there? Many of us have had work events we didn't fancy going to, and have had some other "family commitments" to allow us get out of them.
