7 years above the Rags

The good thing was. All the Blues knew each other.

If I was in Year 7 and some Year 9s were taking the piss because they’d seen my City coat and they’d beaten us that weekend; the Year 11 Blues would go and sort them out!

And we’re all still mates now. Aged between about 27-43 we’re all the same group of mates, or Brothers of that group of mates who’ve come into the group. (I think we have about 3 Rags in our entire group of mates)

Just a shame a load of them felt it’d got a bit expensive and have given up their seasoncards. We used to have a proper decent tribe of us going to games in the ’00s.

My 2 both have season cards. The eldest is sometimes on call or hungover so I get to use it 6 or 7 times a season. Mostly the shit games like Watford and Bournemouth though!
 
I understand the significance of 7 years (winning the league in 3 of them) to blues at school but we have to get some prospective here, they finished above us from 1992 to 2011 (20 seasons) winning the league in 12 of them. Match that and our domination over them is absolute.
 
There’s a notion from many rags that they’re on their way back. Sure, they’re starting to win games youd expect them to win, but the standard set by us and the dippers over the last 3 seasons, they’ve never attained. Like ever. Still don’t think Ole’s the man for them at all. No second rate Europa League win or qualification for champions league In what has been A poor league will polish that particular turd.

Different times though. They were light years ahead of us. They’ve no excuses for their own shit show since Ferguson retired. Still the self proclaimed biggest and richest club in the universe, 20 times etc. We were none of those things in the 90s and 00s. We’re on a par now financially - we never were back then.
