Although Pep is probably happy in playing fullbacks plus the old guard in midfield, do you think at some stage we will push O'Reilly further forward and perhaps play Gvardiol at left back?

We could so this now that Ajanji is back.

O'Reilly's crosses, and shooting is excellent. And he looks to have box to box power.

I hope not At least not this season. More likely than not Akanji will replace Dias at RCB in some games where speed is an issue. Doas seem a little slower than normal of late.
I imagine Rogers was livid as he'll have wanted to prove his quality against a team that let him go.
Think he achieved that goal in the away game against us

With so many changes afoot in the summer, I suspect none of us can offer certainty on many things. Rodri's return will also impact. Gonzalez will then have a different/hybrid role. Oscar Bobb and Omar Marmoush offer any position across the front line, including the return of false nine. Phil Foden, hopefully, returns to being the player he was. Khusanov and Reis become options at the back. Some of the stellar talent in the academy may make the step into the first-team squad: Mukasa, Mfuni, Gorman. Echeveri has a full pre-season and WCC to take part in.

I am really enthused by the chance to watch it all develop, and that's without discussing any new signings.

Honestly this kid is special.

I don't think I've seen a youth player settle into the first team this quickly, not even Foden.

I know the position facing the play is technically easier but it's still so impressive. Not even technically his position.

I said 2 weeks ago that every week that goes by makes you realise he should have played more this season.
Hindsight mate, also let him settle into the side and keep learning, centre midfield is a completely different ball game, Pep will know when he's ready for that.

just like everyone else i can't wait to see how NOR develops. i think he believes in himself but i'd love for him to make himself more important to us. i think he has some aggression. i wonder if he needs a bit of nastiness in his game. could he replace KDB? i think he might have the skillset, i'm just hoping he has it all

Another great game defensively and offensively.

He was moving like Pogba in the midfield with those pirouettes.
