Gundogan flicked it through the defenders legs to tee up mahrez, it's absolutely his assist, he made that a chance from what was quite a shit pass in between two players.

Gundogan was a fringe player at the end of last season until the Villa miracle. He's not young or fit enough to be playing 2 or 3 times a week. He reflects our rather weird transfer strategy.

He’s levels are too inconsistent these days and the problem is that his best performances are rarely anything special. People moan about KDB but when he is on it, he is genuinely WC. Gundos best performances are like Poundland KDB and when he’s bad he is anonymous.

Been a fantastic servant but offering him a new deal would be a strange decision IMO.

I thought he did watching it live, BBC have him down as an assist. Even if he didn't actually touch it and isn't credited with an assist though it's really really obvious he's created that and it doesn't happen without him.
