Few players as intelligent as him, no he doesn't always have the legs we require from him but he compensates with his ability to control the game

Absolutely amazing player, will be hard to replace but not impossible, I'd keep him for a season but I trust the club they usually get these calls right when it comes to the 'older' players in our squad

Vital to the way we play , controls games and just doesnt give the ball away , he has that 360 degree vision that truly great players have , and we have had him in his prime , some on here will not appreciate him until he has gone.

Not at his best tonight and wasn't really able to help control midfield, and was unlucky with his chance at 1 nil

Obviously that means he'll have a masterclass in the 2nd leg

Great performance from him yesterday. He was instrumental getting the ball through their midfield pressure and did a lot good runs in the attack. He was mainly the reason why Bayern never got the game under their control.
