Yes that's why i was selecting them as examples from 77-79 . To show that I think 77-86 were the best 10 years. That's why I put "classics from 77-79".

In full agreement with you there. It’s not to say that there were no good tracks in the late 80s it’s just that they were less of them and hidden in the dross of SAW formulaic shite.
