Thought he was very good second half. Brilliant in tight spaces and a couple of nifty things to start off attacks. Glad he got a start today, the jury is still out long term, much as it is for any 18 year old who isn't a haaland or a Bellingham or a foden, but a very promising start to his city career this season.

Even if just for the next season or two he can come in for games like today, let us rest other players, and do a good job (like he did), then that's great. And if in a couple of seasons he doesn't quite push on and he moves on, then that's ok - it's a lot better than what 40 million quid Kalvin Philips is offering currently, but at this stage I think he's doing well and he's well capable of becoming a first team regular if it all works out.

He’s so impressive technically and is always available to receive the ball. Wouldn’t want to have to rely on him at this stage of his career, especially when fighting for everything, but he has huge potential for us.

As other posters have said he has this gift for finding space in tight situations.
He'll probably be a class DM in time which may prevent the need to spend a lot of money resigning Lavia.

He made 2 or 3 mistakes today but still had a really good game. He’s got a great attitude and it’s easy to see why Pep likes him. He’s had a great season.
