We may have unearthed a gem here , he has a brilliant attitude is not scared of players with big reputations and is a decent footballer , he got chopped and hacked by the scouse vermin and came back for more. I’m not sure about challenging Kyle and Len, but he’s certainly good enough to be rotated in,when they are injured or need a rest.

When he first appeared, it was obvious that he had quality, but just lacked a bit of strength and tenacity.

However, last Thursday the strength was definitely more noticeable.

Agree. hope we stop playing CB at right back ans trust Rico. Hes done enough to show he can compete at the highest level.

Walker will start I think but we shouldn’t see the CB’s playing there again now and maybe Lewis can play a few games in Jan as lots coming up.

It looked to me that the scruffy bastards targeted Rico all game, as he was subject to bad tackles throughout the match.

They definitely targeted Rico and he passed with flying colours standing up to them by playing his game and not being intimidated or wound up by them.

MOTM so far. Just one moment where he perhaps lacked a bit of strength, but that's to be expected for an 18 year-old. To have a teenager who you're confident enough to pass to when he's surrounded by players in a dangerous position is incredible.
