Absolutely love this kid. Was hard to see him getting kicked all over the park last night without much protection, but he got back up time and time again and adds such spark and dynamism to our play. Really enjoy having him in the team and he's adapting so well to the top level.

Madness the way Lewis was treated last night. Being kicked constantly without any protection from the ref whatsoever can lead to injuries and potentially case decline as his career progress. Look no further than Hazard who was completely washed up after joining Real Madrid in his late 20s. Hazard was by far the most fouled player in Premier League for years it took a massive toll on him.

If Hazard got the protection from the ref, he easily would still be a world-class in his 30s like KDB.

Kids a star

Do feel like Prem managers will start to adapt and find ways of targeting him but he seems right up to the task and makes us look better when he's playing

Wow.

And the thing is, as he starts getting braver, a little more attacking, a tad more sure of himself to play the incisive forward balls rather than playing safe hes going to get even better .
He played 1 or 2 attacking balls last night so the glimpses are already there.
No idea what position hes gonna end up. But its exciting.

Do you think he’s still growing? Played brilliantly so far but I wonder if he could get physically bullied sometimes in the future?

He's not been bullied in any match he's played so far and a couple of teams have tried.

His legs will be black and blue today but he more than held his own and didn't let it get to him.

Now we just need refs to actually start booking people for kicking him or at least a couple of our players to actually start showing some bollocks and defending each other.

What more can be said about this kid? Played like he has been in the first team for 5 years already. Didn't put a foot wrong all game.

Can’t believe the composure and awareness he has when coming inside at his age seems to be loving every minute of it as well

Listen to pep and he was disappointed in our players not going over and having a go at the spurs players for picking him out for the kicks he so spot on

Played out of his skin again and clearly trusted starting these big matches, he made a couple of really positive passes that nobody got on the end of and he doesn't give in, genuinely thought he was injured after the second or third kick and yet again another twat of a ref offering no protection for our players.
