No.Could he be a winger in the form of Bernardo who can come inside and ball play?

O think that's fair. He's brilliant but could be another TAA unless his defensive game matures. Hopefully it's just a case of a bit of experience plus physically filling out a bit. By no means an expert opinion as I'm a fat old **** with two left feet.This.
For me, Lewis is more suited to a midfield role. His defensive skills currently aren't good enough.
yup, thats why traore >>> lamine yamal, because he is faster. very sound logic you got there
So you didn’t see Walker v Traore, Lewis kept closer to Traore than Walker didi.
If you look at how our wide players use the ball now in relation to maintaining possession and pulling 2 or 3 opposing player towards them, then I would say no chance. His qualities as I see them are positional play and a quick pass and move technique. This is more attuned to a middle of the pitch player. His problem will be there is a lot of competition in that area.Could he be a winger in the form of Bernardo who can come inside and ball play?
No he didn't. He had his worst game of the season so far but he wasn't alone in that.looked way out of his depth today.
As for the prick sat behind me in the south stand shouting he wouldn't get in his Sunday league team…leg it!
Age isn’t taken into account at all. Walker is either as quick as he was or he isn’t. Saying play Walker because he was quicker a year or two ago is just daft.Subs getting up to speed is with the game ,not in a straight foot race which 2 years ago Walker would have stayed with Traore. Lewis for most games is a better fit for the team than Walker, especially with Rodri out,and will probably start more.Do you know when a play comes on and they're 'not up to match speed'? You hear it quite often with subs, non??
So... what the exception here? And that's with age taken into account!
I remember Vinicius Jr tearing Walker a new one at the beginning of his encounter, cos he misjudged Vinny Jr's speed.
Not so much after that.
Don’t see the point. We’ve got proper wingers and if you want someone to largely just retain the ball out there(apart from Bernie) we’ve got Foden who will also get plenty of goalsCould he be a winger in the form of Bernardo who can come inside and ball play?
