Being honest, haven’t been overly convinced by Rico. Today he was absolutely superb, best player on the pitch. Everything goes through him now, you can see the Pep plan in action. Really good performance.

Thought he was a good player, but not sure he could take it to the next level. Today, he was the best player on the park. Pep is now sending the play through Rico, which is a huge compliment.Struggling to see how much more a 19 year old defender could do to convince you before now

Mainoo doesnt get near rico. But im happy for the giddy kippers to hail mainoo as thr next big thing whilst rico flies under the radar

Don't fully agree with this He was a fault but it wasn't all on him. When we lost the ball look at how Doku sat and ball watched. He should have been busting a gut to get to the man in possession. Pressure at that point would have meant a different story. Could have done better when it was time for him to defend but our game plan rely's on that initial fast press and tracking back upon losing the ball. Doku didn't do his part.Very good game, particularly in possession but their goal was on him and I suspect that's the first thing Pep will have told him. really poor attempt at an offside trap despite not being the deepest man instead of tracking the runner. Needs to up that side of his game and I've no doubts he will. Only he knows why he absolutely hammered that open goal so hard, would have topped off a very nice afternoon for him.
If he's not getting an England call up there's something wrong.
However Lewis had an immense game other than that today. So bloody smart as a footballer. Can't wait to watch him play more.

Maturity and authority today, he knows his role. Lots of personality. Big part to play these season.
