Same story with him every week. Never in the right position, never strong enough, fast enough, never really does much, likes pointing fingers. Passes the ball sidewards well and is good technically, that's all. When he plays he is targeted for a reason. He is the weak spot, and it makes us vulnerable. He plays, we lose. Worst win-loss ratio on the team.

He gives 100% and runs his bloody socks off. The lad doesn’t go hiding. He is obviously the next Richard Edghill. His positioning defensively is about as good as Gvardiol, so that should say something.

Walker, Lewis and Gundogan are a HUGE problem. We are playing with 8 with these in the team

He’s been overplayed, if that’s a thing, I get that but he’s just poor. Doesn’t offer anything defensively, offers nothing offensively - picks up good positions but then does nothing but a 5 yard pass when he gets it. And it’s always sideways!

Playing Lewis inverted means we have only 3 back and absolutely no recovery from midfield. Teams make 2 passes and theyre at our back 3. Its a fucked system with Lewis and Gundogan.

Pep needs to work on pragmatism for right now.

Pep is a genius but he has blind spots. Eric Garcia? Thankfully Garcia wanted out.

Utterly pointless. When he plays full back, he can’t defend. When he plays midfield, he is too negative. When he moves from full back into midfield, he is caught in no-man’s land and ends up doing neither effectively.

As we have seen, he is serviceable in a winning machine. That’s all. He is our Wes Brown or Rafael. Just an average footballer, who won the lottery.

I said weeks ago that he would be a decent barometer of where the team is at. It’s almost a nailed on guarantee, that if he is playing a lot of games, the team is struggling and that’s being borne out. He is not a top player. He will never be a top player. He wouldn’t have made it at City 20 years ago when we were absolute shite.
