25 minutes of game time, after a month of not playing and he’s not good enough now. What exactly do fans on here expect?

Posters on here only want ready made players and expect him to be world class after not playing at all.

We can put this one to bed now. This isn’t me laying any blame on him for the capitulation but every time I watch him, it’s the same. He doesn’t believe he belongs at this level. It’s time the fans stopped believing it too.

Gundogan gave it away just as much. Gvardiol had a 14 minute aberration.

Hes not going to get any game time is he, lets just be honest with the situation. If the current form keeps going and we end up signing several players, hes even further away. Let him go, as we have done lots of others.

To be fair Gundogan, Lewis and foden all gave away the ball in the middle under less pressure and without a unneeded pass

I never said he was going to, but I’m not writing off a talented young player based on 25 minutes where the entire team gave up. I wouldn’t do that with any youngster

He was on loan at Sheff United playing PL football and he hasn’t kicked on at all. He still looks like an 18 year old, getting his debut. Now it looks like he’s going in Jan. How do you know that?

Of course you should believe in him. He’s a city player, fans usually get behind their own players, especially from the academy

He looks like he’s not played football in a month. The odd 25 minutes once in a blue moon isn’t enough to gain confidence or show any kind of form.

What exactly are you expecting from him, with no game time
