I really hate the excuse, we dont talk about individual cases.

Has to be said though, there can't be an excuse for all 800,000 of them, I'd reckon a good 100,000 are playing the system, but when the Labour party has been throwing out benefits like there's no tomorrow for the past 20 years obviously people are going to take advantage of that. Im all for helping less fortnate people out, and by no means should the entire benefit system go out the window, but for it to be a success it needs to be adequately monitored.

The tory's will sort out our financial collapse the hard way, through being tough and cutting important benefits to get us back on track, then be voted out just in time for Labour to fly in and look like a huge success before begining the cycle again.

funnily enough the high number of IB claimants are mostly in areas that were decimated by government policy in the 80's

It was claimed 878,300 chose not to be checked for their fitness to work under tests brought in when the benefit was replaced by employment support allowance in 2008. But the figure takes no account of those that did not take a test because they found work or became better, and assumes all were motivated by a desire to avoid questions that would reveal they had no incapacity.

I think accusing someone of quoting 'random shit' when it was on the news is out of order, I watch Sky news UK here in Oz and I saw it too, whether you believe news on tv is up to you but its not random shit that the poster thought up is it

Without a link to evidence or a video or even a mention of sky news in his op then yes, it seems random shit to me.
