9/11 documentary now

Anyone who thinks a building collapsing due to fire could travel faster and faster, straight down through what should have been the path of greatest resistance – the 80,000 tons of structural steel below that was at least five times stronger than necessary to resist this load - is clearly mental.

Mate you are discounting the fact that engineers at bm have more expertise than then phds' and experts who think otherwise, even those who build the towers

Watch Architects and Engineers as its a real eye opener and also Trillions-follow the money

If the towers were rigged with explosives, who did it, how did they do it, why did they do it, and how many people realistically had to know about it? It's the answers to those questions that make it all a bit too implausible for me.

There are lots of "bits" to the official story that don't make a whole lot of sense, but no one has ever been able to piece them all together into a coherent conspiracy that is anywhere near compelling enough for me to believe. It would require a convergence of so many different interests and factions that it would be completely unmanageable.

They are lucky they didn't set all those explosives off when they hit the towers eh.

You're not even thinking about this rationally are you.

Ermm you're confused aren't you.

The engineers with PHD's in the real world agree that the planes took the Twin Towers down.

A DC-8 - which it was also designed to withstand - has a fuel capacity of 89,865.40 litres. But your point is irrelevant anyway because the planes weren't fully loaded with fuel. It's estimated that there were 38,000 litres of fuel on each plane at impact.

Actually, they were designed for impacts at around 600 MPH.

When interviewed in 1993, Lead WTC Structural Engineer John Skilling told The Seattle Times:

John_Skilling.png
“We looked at every possible thing we could think of that could happen to the buildings, even to the extent of an airplane hitting the side. Our analysis indicated the biggest problem would be the fact that all the fuel (from the airplane) would dump into the building. There would be a horrendous fire. A lot of people would be killed. [But] the building structure would still be there.”
The article above says that the design was investigated and found to be able to withstand a 600mph collision, NOT that it was actually designed for that.
The lead structural engineer Leslie Robertson disputes that anyway and says there was a disagreement between himself and the port authority about that statement. He said the actual design parameters were for it to withstand a 180 - 200mph collision.
John Skilling's comments don't contradict this. Had the aircraft hit at 200mph, the impact damage would have been significantly less which could well have meant that the cladding protecting the structural steel would have done its job.
Even if the 600mph statement is correct and it was designed to withstand the subsequent fire do you think it's more likely that they miscalculated or that a large demolition team surreptitiously planted a load of charges without anyone noticing?

Don't forget that they did it in such a way in both towers that the explosives didn't go off when the planes hit.

Anyone who thinks that the black boxes of two aircraft can be obliterated, yet a paper passport, perfectly preserved, belonging to a terrorist can be found by a cia agent, amongst millions of tons of rubble ,is clearly mental. Or gullible.
