9/11 documentary now

Anyone who thinks that the black boxes of two aircraft can be obliterated, yet a paper passport, perfectly preserved, belonging to a terrorist can be found by a cia agent, amongst millions of tons of rubble ,is clearly mental. Or gullible.
It was found in the street before the towers collapsed, not amongst millions of tons of rubble.

Suspicious, yes. But not as suspicious as you're making it out to be.

Don't think anyone has argued that point.

I think you need to ask yourself why would anyone plant it? It wasn't difficult to work out who was on the plane and finding a passport doesn't add anything to any supposed conspiracy. It's not as if the hijacker had written details of the plan on the passport.

Look, the bottom line is that the USA and us to a lesser extent don't become powerful by being nice.
Peace is a definite non starter. What's happening in the middle east and North Africa is done to destabilise the region. There wasn't wmd in Iraq. Gaddafi wasn't terrorising his own people. The arms industry is worth trillions. The oil revenues are worth trillions. The USA wants to be in control of this but has to persuade the public to get on board.
The American public are understandably reluctant to comply after events like Vietnam. The cia, fbi and military leaders never change their stance. If they'd had their way and Kennedy hadn't been so resistant, we wouldn't even be here to discuss things like this.
If you can't get the people on board you have to MAKE them get on board.

Exactly, don't have any issues with that theory.

What I don't think they'd do is plant explosives in two buildings, as then flying planes into them seems a little like gilding the lilley.

It's all so vague though. The conspiracy theorists throw these broad accusations around (and there's certainly some truth to parts of what you've just said), but they're very light on the logistics of how something like 9/11 could actually have been carried out. And once they do start piecing proper theories together, it becomes infinitely more absurd than the official theory that they all like to mock so much.

Those who played the official story made a big deal about the passport.
What should also be taken into account it happened under the administration who blatantly lied about WMD in iraq eloquently assisted by the mainstream media in building the war narrative, yes you can point out the mass demonstration but thats just another proof they dont care about their own people. Look where iraq is today, millions dead, millions injured, total destrution of infrastruture, birth of isis and and present state of complete chaos extending into syria.

They tried the same recipe with syria, projected assad just like saddam but thankfully for assad he had the backing of putin or syria would have been done and dusted too by now

You say it's logistically difficult for the US Government to have planted explosives or the like yet the logistics of Bin Ladner planning this from a cave and given the timings and locations of the attcks is itself logically improbable

I don't know what happened but given what followed i.e war, new legislation, the very dodgy money trail etc it wouldn't surprise me if some higher ups had something to do with it or some prior knowledge

Ok, I get it, you're not a fan of the USA. What's the relevance to 9/11 though? They didn't have to destroy a section of their largest city and kill thousands of their own population to justify a war.
