Fair point about having an open mind, and I do with most things. This though, the media didn't have to report on much as we could all see with our own eyes what was happening, and that was a group of terrorists hijacking planes and using them as missiles in an attack on the most famous landmark the USA had to offer. Mohammed Atta was proven to have taken his flying lessons at a school in Florida I think it was, and he was the one who hijacked the first plane. I can't really see why an open mind needs to be used on this particular event.
The reason why you should keep an open mind is summed up in your post... you state that it was clear and we could all see with our own eyes what happened.
Well that's not true, is it.
You weren't there, you have simply seen and heard what you were told. It's probably true, but don't put it past governments to lie and make up stories to go to war.
WMD anyone?
You have absolutely no idea who hijacked what or who did what... other than what you have been told. And now people are telling you different things... so unless you always believe the government and never believe independent analysts, then I suppose you can go on with your position.
Me? I never trust anyone... including the independent analysts!
