Mahrez, Alvarez, Grealish front three imo.

Could be a struggle, Mahrez is hit and miss, Grealish playing quite well but with a lack of end product. I love Alvarez though, he needs to start 100%!

Can't see Haaland being rested if he's in any way fit with Foden already out. That's half our goals right there.

I just can't see us risking Haaland, unless we're desperate late on.

Since arriving at City, the Community Shield is the only match Mahrez has lost against Liverpool, and he's got 7 goals in 2023, so I can see him starting.

But why would they schedule it before a game he's not going to be playing in? They could easily move it to next week when he's fit again.

Has anybody raised a white flag? All of what I’ve seen are people (rightly) wounded about Haaland being out but confident in Alvarez too.

I don’t think Mahrez will start but he’s a lot more hit than miss. No winger apart from Messi if we class him as one in his prime is always consistent. Foden is far from it and Grealish as well as he’s playing is less likely to come up with a bit of magic like Mahrez to score a goal. Seems like our only wide forward who gets stuck if he has an off game is Mahrez. Yet overall he’s been brilliant for us especially since the world cup.
