The movement and speed of movement for the goal was incredible, he's behind the player when the balls played in and still gets there first. We stopped trying to find him early after we scored which was a mistake imo as he had them terrified and the space was there for him had we played a tad more direct.

He's extraordinary, isn't he? Misses what looked like a routine goal in the first minute, then scores from what I wouldn't even have said was really a chance.

I know he's not our focal point in the way he would be if he was elsewhere, but there were times tonight where he ran the channels and we weren't getting the ball to him

I just think he's too good to literally be given two big moments in the game, the first after 20 seconds, and then his goal

That's just the way we play and he'll adapt and become a better and more intelligent player under Pep. It will have a more positive impact on his game and career in the long term than Klopp or Ancelotti's footie would ever have.

He scored a nice one last night, hope to see him in a bigger role against Leeds!

KDB should’ve found him later but delayed and gave it Gundogan who hit the keepers legs, they shit themselves at his movement, i still think he’s getting 60 goals this season and the him and KDB will be in the top 2 for ballon dor

Agreed. It’s hard to find fault with any part of him this season but I wish he’d get involved more. Purely because the more he’s involved, the more goals he’ll get by default.

Maybe not a fault of his own, mind, and more the players not feeding him. I think we’d see him more involved if/when he plays together with Alvarez.

Ironically, many pundits downplay his scoring stats, claiming any decent number nine (Kane often used as an example) would match his numbers due to him being fed opportunities on a silver platter by his excellent City team mates..

To be honest, I agree with you. We're not making the most out of him. I am sure Arteta and Arsenal would have been giving him even better terms to score goals.
But very happy we have him, and he'll evolve even further.

Haaland's goalscoring numbers is unprecedented. Not even Sergio Aguero did it while also playing in Pep's Man City.

These pundits surely also believe Norway are stacked with elite talents - Haaland has 21 goals in 23 games for them.
