He was ace. Great outlet, and you could sense the sheer panic every time the ball went into him.
Yet another fucking great character we‘ve added to the squad, willing to put in everything for the collective cause - despite being an absolute superstar.

Today is probably one of the best examples of how unselfish and team-focused Erling actually is, which is just insane and amazing to think about.

Right at the end he got it 1v1 with a tired (and rubbish) Varane and he stopped, turned, and ran to the corner flag. He didn’t act like a 22 year-old. He looked like a veteran understanding that collective glory is more long-lasting than individual accollades.

We are incredibly fortunate to have got him and I hope he breaks this short dry spell in spectacular fashion this coming Saturday.

Didn't do much as a poacher today, but had an all-round good game, created chances and won lots of important duels, both up front and in the back. Clearly shows his overall game improving. Well done, lad!
Completely agree... though he HAS to finish that chance at the end from Jack.

Played well today, got involved in the build up and won the ball back several times. One uncharacteristic bad miss that would have put us up 3-1 but otherwise played well

Most important moment for me - when he won that corner at the end, he lost his mind screaming with the crowd. He's a blue through and through and he's not leaving anytime soon

Weirdly playing some of his best football of the season but not taking his chances , he is a battering ram of a player and takes on all comers , they can kick him and push him as much as they want it just makes him more determined a monster of a footballer , the like i have never seen before.

Mad how much talk around him in the media, about real this real that, and in actual fact, the guy just fucking loves city.

always available as the outball and it stuck often. Unlucky not to bag one. i’ll echo many others, completely buys in to the team ethic which is great to see for a superstar.
He knows he still has much to learn and is willing to put in the hard yards.
