So was haaland upset because he was subbed or because he missed a chance to score that goal..
 
Looked frustrated , really wanted that first home goal , keeps on going though , not long back from injury , will be a monster for us

I'd imagine he'd been told to stay up top this time because he dropped deep far more against West Ham. Probably trying to avoid congesting the midfield because we don't need that against Bournemouth.

Great assist anyway. Balotelli esque.

Link up play doesn't come natural to him. He will learn. I felt he dropped more against West ham than today. Probably tactical

He won't be happy if that's his only contribution. He got assist today, dragged defenders and we scored goals but he was frustrated when he was subbed. He wanted to score
 
It's possible Foden didn't see him, but regardless, even if he doesn't score he attracts defenders towards him and that's what got him the assist for Gundogan.

If he doesn't score he still offers alot in other areas.

Sucks for my fantasy points though...
 
Got an assist and should've had a goal if Foden had squared it. Does need to get used to the team and vice versa, and get involved a bit more ideally. He hasn't quite gotten used to that KDB early cross behind the defenders, once he does I can see that being highly fruitful for him and us.

Had Kane last week, 4 goals scored none for him. Swapped to Haaland, 4 goals scored, none for him. Just awaiting Kane getting a couple against Chelsea now.
 
Good performance, mirror what everybody else says really shame Phil didn’t spot him (we’ll go with that) and that he didn’t convert his chance(s) but the ability to distract defences centrally created so much space for Foden, Gundo and KDB.

I think he will be a huge asset against teams parking the bus just by being there, just hope he can convert some chances and keep the media off his back.
 
It's going to be a process as we value the ball so highly under Pep and he's always looking for that ball over the top which we only really try if we're sure it's on. As other have said, he still garners a ton of attention which is helpful. Fantastic assist to Ilkay as well.
