It's getting tiresome already with people suggesting we're better without him in the side. He's one of a very few in the squad who has unquestionably delivered all season. supply him, he scores, it's simple.
the supply is the issue, you can't have the squad we have and create nothing for him, that's unacceptable, he's making moves, we're not finding him. even a team like say Brighton would be laying them on a plate for him every week. Pep needs to get his finger out of his arse and come up with a way of creating regular chances for him, we're far too slow and predictable.

Pep doesnt want him doing extra, Southampton in midweek he dropped in to offer to link up then as play progressed I think kdb played a good ball in and he wasn't quite there, now had he not dropped in, he would have been on the end of it. He's a specialist, and the very best at it, he doesn't need to expand his game or do anything else he's not already doing he just needs to be used correctly.As brilliant as this lad is he’s got to learn to actually shift his arse and play football, not just stand about in the box waiting for the ball like a moody ****.
Aguero learnt this. Am sure Haaland will as well.

Do we need to adapt to him more or is the problem that our midfield at present is woefully underperformed....or does he need to adapt to playing differently ( I'd say this is the lesser possibility)

He needs to work a bit harder for me, good teams defend from the front.He's a specialist, and the very best at it, he doesn't need to expand his game or do anything else he's not already doing he just needs to be used correctly.

I’m comfortable with him not doing as I would prefer him to be ready to pounce. However, you can’t play other lazy players like Mahrez too. The other 9 have to work very hard. This is why i would play him with Alvarez, as our forward line are just not pressing enough and not keeping defenders occupied. No overlapping full backs isn’t helping either. Quite easy to defend against. Pep needs to find a solution but I think it is worth a try. Mahrez may have to be sacrificed to achieve that. Foden and Grealish both need to work harder defensively too.He needs to work a bit harder for me, good teams defend from the front.

He's having a dry patch, all forwards go through it, when he nets he'll go on another mad spree.

Harry Kane's level of technical ability is miles clear of Aguero if we're being completely hhonest. Yet most Man City fans argue why Aguero has been Premier League's best striker ahead of Kane by highlighting goals production per minute & other stats...
Erling Haaland is indeed inferior than Aguero in term of skills, but I couldn't care less. A striker's job is to produce goals.
Haaland, despite his technical limitations, is easily the best striker in the world. He has delivered tons of goals in his career regardless if it's UCL, internationals with subpar Norway team or Bundesliga/EPL.
The likes of Aguero & Kane have never been on Haaland's level at any point of their careers.
