That second goal. That ball from De Bruyne.
I'm sure Haaland would prefer doing what hes doing with a chance of winning trophies than go looking for personal achievements like Kane and winning fuck all, its a team game
It may be more a case of Pep managing his game time to the club's advantage. He's had a spell (two, was it?) out with injury this season. Pep was probably thinking about not wanting to risk an injury to key men in what was, AT THAT TIME, a dead game. He almost definitely had an eye on wednesday night and the game in two weeks' time. I doubt it has anything to do with Haaland overshadowing the team. But yes, I totally see where you're coming from re those who have money riding on Haaland reaching a particular milestone.
And I was one of the wallies who thought we would miss Raz
To be fair, you'd never see Pep doing that with Messi. Dead game or not.
Taking off Haaland when the game is won makes sense but I really wish it wasn't every single game. We seem to take it as a sign that the game is won and we can stop playing, which nearly led to disaster yesterday.
Imagine how much more he could get injured aswell
Haaland is big and likely prone to get injured compare to Messi. It's simple as that.
