Don't take it as gospel....but i suspect he is suggesting you might be a bit special. Not sure I follow. I do buy my nephew a City shirt every year, though.
Ah, okay. Not sure why but whatever.Don't take it as gospel....but i suspect he is suggesting you might be a bit special.
Naa just find it odd when grown men have the players name on the back of their shirt. Wasn’t having a go. Each to his ownAh, okay. Not sure why but whatever.
I collect shirts of players I like and/or think will be special for us. Not sure why that makes me odd or anything.
Oh no worries. I already bought one without a name that I’ll wear. I just like to collect shirts is all. Since family circumstances prevent me from traveling, it’s something I like to do instead.Naa just find it odd when grown men have the players name on the back of their shirt. Wasn’t having a go. I've seen people excitedly tipping him to score 40, 50, even 60 goals next season. I know he's good, and I'm excited too, but I think we're getting ahead of ourselves a bit. He still is young, and he'll take a fair while in adapting to a style of play that doesn't actually jive well with how he himself operates.
At Dortmund, he was burdened with very little defensive responsibility. He was allowed to stand on the shoulder of the last man and wait for the ball to come to him. He wasn't expected to come deep, interchange with the wingers and attacking midfielders, and slide his teammates in with throughballs. That's something he'll need to learn.
He'll also have to learn to operate with considerably less space. German clubs all defend on the halfway line, be they Bielefeld or Bayern. Haaland generally has 60 yards to run behind into, and barely sees the kind of deep-sitting defensive lines that we usually face in a weekly basis.
the fact that the moment he came to us the media started talking about exit clauses etc show how much fear there is amongst the established elite ......I think it was about 24 hrs before there was the first report that he would be off to Madrid within a season or two...
the fear is very real
As wil be the move to Real Madrid.

However when that move does materialise you won't see reports of him being off after a day, you won't see agent fees and wages quoted as part of the overall price and you won't see it questioned whether he will fit in or not. The move will be celebrated rather than questionedAs wil be the move to Real Madrid. Let's kust enjoy him while we can.

I guess some of our fans believe he's an actual robot lol.
15 goals first season would be a success in my books.
