He's just giving interviews and it's his prerogative to do so he's saying his son is his own man which is fair enough, by the sounds of it he actually put the 15 year comment out there to shut the press up as he's probs sick of it himself, with the media's strange sexual fantasies of Erling jetting off as soon as possible... I'm more than happy for Alfie to say what he did in this instance and so should you.

There's every reason to think Haaland might be convinced to stay for a very long time with Pep's extension, him being pals with Foden and others already he's very happy here he'll be scoring goals but also winning many trophies, then add the potential arrival of best mate Bellingham who could also stay a long time should he join it'd be another plus.

They tried saying Aguero or Silva or Pep wouldn't stay and maybe they didn't plan on such a long stay but they absolutely love/loved it here, with our infrastructure in place at the club that'll excite any ambitious footballer Erling Haaland will know 100% that the future is blue.
