haha, just remembered , when big erl was coming off the brentford fans were singing"you're just a shit ???????" (didnt catch the name ) he heard it and had a chuckle :)

good to have the big lad back, sadly again i see fucking idiots slagging him off, he made loads of runs tonight either to drag the defenders away of to be put through and was never found
Yep. Alvarez had a few decent long-range shots that I don't think he takes if he's the loan striker.

He is either very unfit or a bit lazy. Disappointed with his lack of movement tonight . His best moments were in our box defending set pieces,

Why bother making runs when we never try and find him? His best chance came from a bad Brentford pass.

I don’t think Alverez playing in that role behind him helps. It cuts out spaces where Kev, Rodders or Phil can thread balls through. Personally I’d have Alverez rotating in wide positions. But what do I know in comparison to Pep?

Useless!! GET RID!!

being out for 2 months with a bone fracture is absolutely no excuse for not putting in an unreal performance in your first start since! No excuse whatsoever!

Should have his wages docked for not scoring a chance too.

The fact he's top scorer in the league despite missing 2 months is sheer luck. Just like his record breaking season.

If he doesn't bang in a hattrick vs Everton, we should probably start looking too offload him to Madrid.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt his body language was atrocious. There was a pass from De Bruyne late in the game that he hardly attempted to get to.
I get the impression that we are not allowed to criticise him in this forum. World class player but can be lazy and has missed alot of easy chances this season . Still love the guy though .

Ita hard judging this game as he's been out a while, but you compare the effort he's put in today compared to KDB first game back its night and day

He was guilty of just looking uninterested in the physical battle, and its been an issue this season not just the injury

He's still an asset, and him playing opens up space for others, but he has to do more if he's not scoring
Glad you still see Erling Haaland as an 'asset'.
