Personally, I thought he stank the place out yesterday, looking lazy and disinterested.

That said, I still think he'll top the scoring charts, and we'll win the PL this season. If you think that's 'negativity' on my part, there's no hope for you!

this season i dont think its far off.

Too many performances like yesterday where he completely ghosts; Arse away, Villa away, Pool away, Wolves away, Tottenham home, Chelsea Home. Several other performances that have been lacklustre, but saved by a goal.

Just ambles around for 90 mins refusing to get stuck in. If he isn't scoring, he isn't doing anything.

Maybe i'm asking just too much of the lad, but putting yourself about and looking interested surely isnt much to ask for a guy on £400k a week?

I think I can give him a break for not playing well. I don’t need to go overboard and start questioning wherever he’s a good fit or worth his wages or any other ott criticism that he’s receiving.
He’s 18 months in and has by every fucking metric been an unbelievable success.
I don’t turn on our players as soon as they hit a rough patch. I think they deserve a bit more support than what some on here are offering up.

He’s worth every penny and by the time he leaves he will have paid us back in spades as well as putting a nice chunk back in the bank with his release clause.
