Speaks way more about his ability to consistently get into goalscoring position through off-ball movement, a testamente of Haaland's exceptional footballing IQ.

Are people now going in on Haaland for missing chances now? They were slating him for not being involved in games prior to that. Players like Doku going past and committing defenders means Haaland can’t be doubled up on which means he gets more space and more opportunity to shoot. He will score a shedload and I’m sure Forest won’t be happy coming up against him today.

Yes he's missed some chances you would expect him to score, but to think he should be sitting on about 15 goals is completely unrealistic, it's not a computer game.

He's still averaging more than a goal a game in the league this season...

The fact people are describing him as being 'off the boil' with 8 goals in 6 games (scoring in 5 out of 6 games) is a testament to the complete lunacy of the standards he's set.

For a normal striker a bad run is when they haven't scored in the last five games. For Haaland it's when he scores but he should have scored a hat trick.

He should have won so many penalties by now but for some reason the officials seem to think throwing him to ground and tripping him up is a perfectly viable tactic.

I have never seen anything like it. Special dispensation given for defenders to push, pull, grapple, hold, shove, cuddle, hug, pinch, chinese burn, machete Erling every match for full 90 minutes.

And thats on top of all the other referee shenanigans inflicted on City.
