we give the lad fuck all service that’s fair to say. And what he does get is not the type he thrives on. But what worries me is his demeanour. Last year he was huge character in games, got others going, got the crowd going etc. now he just looks fed up and disinterested. His work rate and movement are none existent.
His body language is terrible and concerning. He's only 23 and he's out there looking like a 30 yo veteran who is simply coasting along. I'm glad Roy Keane and others are trolling him, hopefully it wakes him up.

Issue isnt Haaland...its how we are setup to play. It doesnt suit his attributes.

So the question is, does Pep change the playing style next season where we go more faster through transition from defence/midfield to attack ?

I dont care how good Erling is, and he is a bloody great striker, but I ask myself who would i prefer in attack (in terms of playing style etc etc) - haaland or aguero. And the answer is aguero..his style suits our playing style more in terms of movement, link play and creating his own opportunities

At the moment Haalands attributes and what he offers are not being utilsed - so we have to adapt and get the players in around him in the summer to unlock his true potential

If you put Haaland in another team who play more direct and at speed he would look more at home.

At the moment he looks suffocated and our style of build up play aint helping

Many great points here. Ideally, both Pep and Haaland would make some concessions, but I'll chose Pep over any player anytime anyday.

Who would you replace Erling Haaland with if we did cash in on him in the summer?
We have Alvarez which is perfect for false 9. The money for Erling should go to a world class winger + world class MF (KDB and Bernardo are slowly being worse + our best winger is Foden who shouldn't be playing there anymore).

So what's changed since last season ?

Is it him or our style of play ?

He was in a team filled with established, experienced first-teamers who knew the style of play in and out, ones who could adapt to Haaland yet continue to play how Pep wanted us. Many of the team he played with have moved on, and we've had several new additions, as well as a change in our style of play. This season is more about this new team as a whole, not just how Haaland has performed.

Couple that with his injury, KDB's injury, and this whole season has been disjointed for him. Nobody's fault, there's just not been the same level of consistancy Haaland experienced in his first season here. All these little chnages have created a big issue for him this season. Throw in all our own expectations due to how he performed last season and no wonder we've got fuckwits going "cAsH iN oN hIm In tHe SumMEr!"

Haaland is nowhere near the finished article yet, anyone can see that. But his raw talent and power isn't something to be ignored but nurtured.

He has a decent scoring record but I wouldn't call him prolific. Haaland is the last player you would sell even if you think he is not ripping up any trees.

"Thanks for a record breaking first season where you scored the most goals in a PL season, on our way to an historic treble for the club.

But some of us think you're poo now and we want someone betta."

This is where we're at now, is it guys?
