Tis weird, that a man who has banged in so many goals and who played a massive part in the treble in his first season gets so much shit on here.

Second season is much harder for some players and we are playing a bit differently this year . He does need to give more and learn how to fashion his own chances as sergio did but he is only 22 but still needs to kick on a level

Well, there’s no accounting for morons. The lad is a generational talent and if half wit saddoes who expect a treble every year and 50 goals from him can’t get it the not sure they can be helped.
Every player has bad games and bad patches but end of. If they want an improvement then perhaps support him and the team a bit more

Personally, I don't see Haaland as a 'generational talent', more of a 'freak' talent. He's certainly not the best footballer in Europe, nor is he at City. He's just had a few ridiculously good seasons scoring lots of goals.
Rodri is the best footballer at City by a mile.
Foden is the only 'generational talent' at City.

Guess “generational talent” needs defining to determine who is what.

Surprised the phrase hasn’t entered into the modern football parlance is rubbish thread though.

Wasn't Ravel Morrison once described as such?

Freak talent, generational talent - it’s the same thing. It’s players who you see once in a generation. I do think Foden is one and if Haaland is a freak then so is he. For me Gazza was also one.
Good as he is and by God he has been wonderful for us I don’t see Rodri like that - in part because of the position he plays.
