9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24

Started this season exactly the same as last, with two away goals against a team in claret and blue.
 
Still think we need to get ball to him quicker at times. Glad we used route 1 a few times tonight too. That will worry others watching
 
Two good goals and the hold up play to put Alvarez in was quality too.

He's going to score a shit load this season.
 
Good to see him used a bit differently today - especially in the second half. Could’ve had an assist or two and his link-up play with his back to goal was brilliant.
 
On a different planet. If we start using him more with those longer balls and balls behind he will somehow be even better for us than last season. his hold up play is just as good as his finishing, beast today and much much more to come.
