You might be right but we’d need to see us play that way a couple of times with a similar line up, playing quick incisive football with width again.Alvarez was involve in many of those great fast intricate passes involving 3 or 4 City players on the edge of their box..

Looks a shadow of the player from last season. Contributes absolutely nothing if not finishing the one on ones he gets which he is doing less off. Can't hold the ball up, passing is poor and he can't press like an Aguero/ Tevez type player. Carrying him at the moment I'm afraid.
