9 | Erling Haaland - 2024/25

I think his target will be to get in the PL 100 club by the end of the season. Which would be absolutely crazy after three seasons, but he's now only 33 goals away, and there is 36 games to play - he would be the first player ever to do this, but it would mean having to break the PL goals record again.

There have been about 5,000 Premier League players, 34 have scored over 100 goals. Only three have done it in less than 150 appearances. Shearer (124), Kane (141) and Aguero (147).

Haaland if he keeps up this pace is on track to do it in 102 games. He has a bit of a way to go though.

Imagine being about 20% better at your job than any person that ever came before you has ever achieved. Madness.

Ruthless today as he was against Chelsea, when he takes his first chance the opposition is fucked, last season he wasn't at his best and he still bagged 27 league goals, can hit 40 easily if he takes more of his chances like he's done so far this season.

it is identical to what I am hoping for
but this is also an achievement that is difficult to repeat, Big Erl scored 17 goals in the first 13 games in his first season.

He needs to score even harder if he wants to reach 40

Looks fit. And that's scary for everybody else. If he remains relatively injury free and doesn't miss huge chunks of the season. He'll break all the records he's already set this season and have his most prolific season yet. We're better suited to provide for him and both he, pep and the other players know each other better, he's only going to get better.
