So you expect him to be able to create and score goals 'without others' but at the same time you're 'not putting it all on him' Congratulations on the most contradictive statement I've ever read.

With regards to the midfield he's had around him - we've won a treble and a premier league in the last two seasons with the players you mention and Haaland up front - including him scoring a mere 90 goals...

Why are you so arsed about how much he's paid? He's the best goalscorer in world football... if city don't pay it then someone else happily will.

Just wondering why there’s always a BUT after any “praise” you afford our players.

However much you protest, it’s becoming rather too obvious
 
Some of our fans will shit more on our academy players who are making peanuts compared to Erling. He becomes a liability if he's not being his usual clinical self. We could have won the game on his chances alone.

I'll say it again and I don't care if people get upset, if you're going to be absolutely useless in every facet of the game except scoring goals you better take your chances, and he missed 4 or 5 great chances, rubbish today.

Really good that others stepped up and created themselves something though isn't it.

Well that's one of the biggest problems this season obviously, no one else can hit a barn door except Gvardiol sometimes, but he still missed too many chances, it wasn't 1 or 2 chances it was at least 5.
 
First time since we signed him have I said this but I would be taking him out the team now, offering nothing. We need control.

Thing is that’s the life of a centre forward, on another day they all go in and nobody says a word, and he’s proven that can happen on many occasion, take him out we’d never get a shot away never mind a goal

Missed a few, but also created his own (turn and shot in the box that hit crossbar) and generally was doing about all he can.

We don’t have the players to give us control, though, which is much of the problem. We started heading in this direction after we won in Europe and are now a hybrid. We’re incapable of prolonged possession against good teams and we’re incapable of slugging it out with anybody half decent if we play expansively.
