The amount of people that haven’t the faintest fucking clue about football on this thread.

I love when people resort to belittling people's knowledge, without providing an alternate opinion, as a way of point scoring.

You do it far too often, SWP, and it's not very becoming. We both know you're better than that.

No problem. £50 gentlemans agreement be OK.
I'm saying that when Kun goes whoever we buy to replace him will be our No 1 striker. (starts most league games,Obviously if either suffer a long term injury then the bet wont stand).
Does that sound fair to you?
Can I take it on for £4m

Hmmm I agree with that. I didn’t want to make the Aguero vs Jesus argument because I think they are a little different and that Aguero is the best premier striker ever seen (or at least this decade).

The thing with this conversation is that who else in this age bracket is better than Jesus?

Mbappe and maybe Lautaro Martinez. Nobody else. So I’m of the mind we should be grateful for him personally.

but do we need to be looking inthe same age bracket to add a striker when Kun leaves..or could we look for someone in their mid 20's that could still give us 5-6 years of decent service incluing their best years?

Again. a lot will come down to what Pep does as if another manager comes in as Kun hangs up his boots, that person may decide to keep GJ as number one striker...however he may not...he may decide to add another forward and play with a differnt system (Probably not as our system is pretty much engrained throughout the whole club from the under 7's right the way throught o the first team)....

On this, Im suprised Pep has never gone back to experimenting with the 3-5-2 at the back..however this is down to injuries i suspect - Mendy being the big one that scuppard that plan for wuite a while and now Laporte being out is probably another block to that....shame as it could have been devistatingly good

I've been wanting to see a 352 all season lol.

Now what I noticed in the last game is that we already know Peps systems are very fluid, but our 442 basically shifted mendy over into a wingback roll and let Sterling play on the inside.

This essentially made a 343 with Sterling, Kevin and Jesus as the front 3, and Mahrez isolated on the right with the intent of switching to him and let him go one on one.

Back to Jesus, your right, we dont know what a new manager will do.

Personally I dont think we need another striker when Aguero leaves because we simply score goals from all over and we aren't dependent on it. We create mostly for our wingers anyway, and with our strikers playing false 9, I could see Sterling and Mahrez doing a fine job there to rotate jesus in the future.

I want us to buy a quick winger who can then also play striker. Timo Werner is probably my number one choice.

Can play both wings, lone wolf striker or a striker partner with jesus. More realistic than Sancho.

Also, if we keep Sane, then scrap Werner and have Sane do all that instead, because I think Sane would be a great speed striker as well.

What I'd like to see is a English player preferably 19yrs old, go and play in the South American Brazilean league.

Learn the language, don't moan about the weather, be on the bench for maybe 60% of games.

I then want that player to comeback to England after maybe 4 yrs and tell us all it was piss easy, like some make out on here.

Agree about the quick winger....I dont think we have any hope of keeping Leroy unfortunately

What a player, what a superstar...

The one thing is sure about Gabby -> He will score as many goals as aguero scores on average for City as soon as he becomes the regular started and if we look at his age, may even get 40+ goals on average -> each season....
For example Aguero`s average is 31-32-33 goals per season, that's his maximum.

Excellent.
Even without mentioning the food or weather..
