"Rarely does" is a bit of a stretch, every striker needs service. Jesus is in the team to link up play and look for the best opportunity to score even if its not himself, KDB is probably one of the best in the world to shoot from distance so it was hardly him passing back to Gundogan to have a go.

yes i agree that every striker needs service and in yesterdays game he got none (other than being provided a very good opportunity by a horrendous back pass which he chose to lay off to KDB instead of turning on and going at goal-which in itself suggests a problem)

A striker needs to have that killer instinct and he doesnt look to have it. He may well be in the team to link up play but he is there to take chances and score goals as well and he does need to improve in this area

Is he a better all round player technically than Kun right now? Yes he is imo and at 23, he is the future.

I've heard it all now. Jesus can't hold a candle to Aguero technically. The way Sergio can hold off a defender on halfway, turn and link with others is/was absolutely second to none.

Look at his performance at home to Liverpool last season. Biggest game of the season, a must win in literally every sense of the phrase. He terrorised their back four all night and absolutely buried the chance he got, which was made possible through his intelligent movement, exquisite first touch and lethal finishing.

Jesus isn't capable of such a level and never will be. The raw materials aren't there.
