Pep also said this which you conveniently forget -

That's the same nonsense that Liverpool spout about Firmino to justify his existence. Jesus is no different to him - A player who started well, but is no longer living up to expectations and is living off the odd goal.

Like Firmino, PL defenders simply aren't worried by or about Jesus. He's got a big heart, but lacks any real presence

I'd love to know where this is all going?

What's your point? What do you want to happen?

You just bombard the thread with shitty, sarcastic replies and ignoring everything other people say to shriek "HE"S NOT GOOD ENOUGH WHERE ARE THE GOALS WHERE ARE THE GOALS?" every single day...what's the end game here?
Why are you here every day ? I was reminded he has been here for four years today , i wont say what i think just for you petal

I don't care if they are afraid of him or not. He scores goals when he starts and we win games with him in the side.

On their way according to Pep.

These are facts - He has an absolutely brilliant goalscoring record in the league when he gets to start, one of the best in history, and Guardiola is on record saying he is one of the reasons we concede so few goals, the best striker in the world at other parts of the game so even if he doesn't score, he's contributing in a way Aguero doesn't when he's not scoring.

And Iheanacho didn't?

Jesus underperformed his xG last season by 7 last season also missing 21 big chances, the most in the league. That's the issue. Understand the numbers in context. The fact we're targeting a striker is every indication that we don't see Jesus as capable of leading the line for a sustained period of time.

We buying a striker because Aguero is 33, his contract is about to run out, he's been injured since July and hasn't scored a league goal in year.

We're targeted an elite striker to be starting week in and week out because we know Jesus cannot. We are absolutely not targeting a deputy. Lukaku, Kane, Haaland etc whoever signs will be our main striker.
