are you for fucking real? The Brazil #9 has 90 minutes where we create over 25 chances and he can't fashion one for himself that he sticks in the back of net against a mid-table 10 man team? He was useless.

Even if you are wide forward or winger you still have to score or contribute and not hide behind hard work. His lack of clutch goal scoring has seen him being declared as someone who is not a CF but a winger or even wide forwards do score take good shots etc

Kept trying and was pulling the Leeds defence around but not a single decent chance was created for him. Hoofed crosses in the box or woeful fucking passing isn't going to help him.

Is it the strikers fault the players behind him can't create a single chance for him? It's widely accepted jesus has good work rate and movement so theres no argument he isn't working hard enough to get a chance he simply wasn't given service.are you for fucking real? They went narrow and crowded the box, the area he was asked to operate in, how is he to be expected to get on the ball and create something for himself? If he drops too deep to get on the ball he's ineffective that far away from goal and crowding areas he doesn't need to, the few occasions he drifted out wide, neither torres or sterling rotated into the central position they just continued to lurk on the touchline so he went back into his position and waited for a chance that was never going to come.
We had acres out wide for 90 minutes yet between sterling and torres they provided him with literally nothing. It's such a pub team coaches viewpoint to say we didn't score it must be the strikers fault. Name one instance where he had the chance to score. Jesus didn't play well, he wasn't involved enough to play well or badly but he was not the reason why we didn't score. Swap him for haaland, mbappe, lewandowski or anybody you want today and they wouldn't have scored either because the service was non-existent.

If Jesus works so hard, drops deep and links up play so well etc. he can create his own chance. Several occassion where 1 touch out of his feet on the edge of the bix and stick it in the top corner was possible if he was a top striker and he took 4 more touches and nudged it out wide because he doesn't have that edge.
