He is a winger not a striker , he underwhelms me as a striker and i have said for years he needs to be left wing
Good on the right too for me, he didn't really play as a central striker today, he played many positions.

The thing is, he offers the "team" a great deal, even when he's not scoring, I'd call him a great team player.

That wasn't a "worldie" Jesus headed it the wrong direction for me, he'd never have got to the other corner, that said the keeper was still fortunate, he could easily have dived past it.
Well have to disagree with you, I thought that was an unbelievable save from the keeper and to push it over the bar as well.

He’s having to play central for the team when we‘ve all seen hes a far better wide man. great player to have in the squad.

I agree,he should have done better with that header.

He had a fairly quiet game yesterday, not playing wide really does take something away from his game,he should definitely have been more aggressive, especially alongside Mahrez and Sterling who don't really know how.....

Great strength and cross for the Sterling goal.

As soon as "Aguero Replacement" pressure was lifted off him - he became more and more valuable for this team. During the past years, you looked at him and said - "Yeep, he is great but....".. Now this "but" word doesn't exist, he is great and that's all, you are satisfied with the player and contribution he delivers to the team..

Now club has decision to make.. It's either continuing with Jesus or selling him and buying some "world class" striker, like Lautaro or Haaland or someone of that caliber.

He is 24, integrated in the team in an ideal way, knows the system, works a lot, contributes a lot and I think the more mature he becomes, more effective he will be.. After all, this finishing and everything - relates to brain and confidence and that comes with the age.

What's more important, the era of "Forwards" is over.. You look at Lukaku and Kane, then you look at this City team - who plays without a "Classic Forward" since the last season and the results are getting better and better. So, why there is this urge to sign a "Classic Forward", when everything is perfect anyway ?

Because some people think in clichés (footballers are specialists either in defending or in creating or in finishing) and reckon that if we sign a finisher, we'll score much more goals.

There are only 2-3 strikers in the world who may improve our first XI. And they'll need time to learn the system, and they may be reluctant to put a shift for the team wrt pressing/defending.

I think this team - without a striker - can outscore any team in the world including Liverpool and Bayern. Bold claim, but I think it is likely to be true. The sheer creativity of this team is on another planet.
