Exactly what we've been missing from a winger since Sane left. He has the ability to get behind the defence with his pace and can cross it into a dangerous area. Something none of our other wingers have. Torres can cross it, but can't get behind the defence. Sterling can get behind, but can't cross it. Mahrez and Grealish both invert. As long as we move the ball quickly and get balls in behind Gabby can be valuable this season.

Home, home on the wing, where Gabriel Jesus is king. He was magnificent today. Granted the opposition weren’t up to much but that’s what we might get if we stop trying to convince ourselves he’s a striker.

Great player, great attitude, unfairly criticised in my opinion. Would start for almost every top team in Europe. Glad he showed his true potential today, love the guy. Perhaps some people can actually see the bigger picture after today.
Many don’t rate him as our main striker, if he can build a career with us on the wing then brilliant. Didn’t go today sadly but heard how great he was which is good to hear.

Jesus taking Bernardos place
I kinda see what you are talking about. Kane coming in and moving Gabby to the right with Mahrez. Bernie can play in multiple positions so he will be missed in other areas of the pitch but if Jack, phil and Kev play it leave no room but the right.

Maybe it’s been decided that Jesus will play on the right if Bernie leaves. He offers us a direct approach that has been missed since sane. If Kane is out then he can also play central.

Like a few others, just waiting for something to click with him and see him push on and become the genuinely world class player he undoubtedly can be. Very pleased for him today.

A winger display that included some bite, purpose and substance, very refreshing and he looks right at home there.

We’ve been missing a player with some balls on the wing for ages. It’s mad that we can pick faults with an incredible City team, but we’re far to passive on the wings. Jesus gave us a direct option today. He actually reminded me of Sterling when he played on the right.

Very impressive today, Gabby had their full back on toast today. Would be disappointed if he was sold in this window

Great performance deserved his MOTM award. Think we should keep there for the next few games, he seems to have good chemistry with Walker down the right.

I posted this could be Gabby's "breakout" season, he was kin brilliant, alongside Eric and Bernie we have three fantastic players that any team in the world would accommodate, superb, well done Jesus, I'll happily live without seeing another signing this season.
