9 wins and a draw

What is it with some City fans this weekend!

Why are some trying to divide us?

There really is no need, some people held very strong opinions (which I disagreed with for the record) but this is a football forum and people have a right to air their opinions.

May I suggest that we let things be, and enjoy the good times without wanting to rub peoples collective noses in their past opinions and views, we all support the same team don't we?

It's the fact that they went about it so vehemently that people want to rub it in. Nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned, I occasionally read the drivel they spouted at every opportunity.

In the end I put Dismal Dave on my foe list. He's still the only one on it.

both sides were equally as bad....too much goading and imaginary cock waving on the forum.

Does it read 12 wins and a draw if we used competitive domestic games?

That sounds even more impressive.

I wonder what the "Hughes Inners" think now almost 2 years on?

That last line was a wind up ;)

Can only beat who is put infront of you, any team would have strugled against Napoli and Bayern to be fair.
I was playing to the gallery somewhat and you're right.

But being serious we've got three away games, at the swamp, Chelsea & Liverpool in the next couple of months. If we come out of those with 5 or more points then we're really on the way.

Agreed. Win at Mickeyfield and draw at The Bridge and Carrow Road.

i think if the rags will achieve 100 or more points they likely be champions coz we surely wont win all the remains games. we will lose a few and draw some others , i'm worry.

Right - let's see who we've beaten in that 10 games.

Bolton & Blackburn away twice. The two sides propping up the Prem.
Spurs at home, thanks to an own goal.
Spurs away - not bad that one but all the dice were loaded in our favour that day.
Stoke at home when they'd given up and thanks to an outstanding performance from someone who's probably played his last game for us.
Swansea at home who were pretty but clueless and we relied on a sub to do it for us, as the starting XI hadn't a clue.
Wigan at home, the other side propping up the table.
Everton, thanks to a deflection then an injury time goal.

And the draw, away at Fulham (who were in the bottom three until today) after throwing a two goal lead away.

Why don't we wait until we've played someone decent before we start crowing too much. Because sometimes it can come back and bite you on the bum.

In fact we have played someone decent as Bayern and to a lesser extent Napoli, humbled us.

Spurs are good and we thrashed them, just admit it. Everton have always been tough and we beat them, just admit it. We were better than Bayern for half an hour, learning curve, and Napoli we underperformed.

Fact is we aren't at our best yet are joint top, Champions League is a learning curve but I think we can beat Villarreal and get back into the mix.

Is this a joke - win all remaining games? No one will - get a grip FFS.

This place gets more childish by the day. I enjoy reading posts from fellow blues that challenge the perceived wisdom of the day, because I find them more thought provoking and interesting than 100 Forza Mancini posts (not that I'm saying there's anything wrong with Forza Mancini posts). If you can find me one blue who isn't deliriously happy with our start to the season I'll gladly eat a bucket of sick, but commenting on issues that arise and being critical of the manager from time to time doesn't mean that you secretly want the team to lose or hate the manager. In fact, I've never heard anything so ridiculous in my life. Is it my imagination or are the majority of those who get on the high horses as soon as anyone dares to question the manager, posters who previously gave Mark Hughes dog's abuse on here? Hugely ironic imo.

that what i was trying to say.

I have put it behind me, but it still makes me smile to know they are still out there, ready to pounce on any slight dip in form.

Look at any time we don't win (not lose, I mean don't win) - 'Mancini got it badly wrong today' appears within a microsecond.

.

Lol, very true.
