This is definitely the United tactic of claiming bot accounts that follow them on Twitter are fans.

Personally, I would say that having an interest in football was a prerequisite to be a "fan experience officer", but maybe that's why I'm not a high-flying chief executive.

They've lost touch quite a few years ago and the sort of statement just put out does fuck all to help.

For the record the 4 closest mates I see at games are not local fans, none have a Manchester postcode.....stats eh?
