(A)Borussia Mönchengladbach

I didn't go last year and staying in Dusseldorf myself this time round but I wouldn't leave it as late as that for making your way over to Gladbach
i was planning on leaving at a similar time - 2 hours 15 mins should be enough surely?

6 of us staying in Cologne Tuesday to Thursday. Only five tickets so far!

Any info on spares or home end tickets greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Takes about 40 mins from Düsseldorf to Mönchengladbach from memory and then another 15-20 mins on the bus. In theory you've got enough time but you've not left loads of time for queues or traffic, and the likelihood of those increase the later you leave it.

Its personal choice but I misjudged Celtic and missed kick off so not wanting to make the same mistake again.

Just received an email from City basically saying my ticket is in fact in the Borussia end???

My ticket is in sector 5 which is defined as "neutral" whereas the away sector is 6 and 7. To me that sounds like we were given an extra batch of tickets, although I was in the first batch of loyalty points so not sure how that works...

Not that important I suppose but might be worth checking your emails.

Same here, sector 5. Bit strange but not worried.

Monchengladbach is a bit of an odd place, not really much to see or do there. Spike's trip is stopping in Cologne the night before, should be good with the Xmas markets. Missed Celtic and Barcelona away for various reasons, so looking forward to my first Euro away of the season.

Have a look at the highlights of the BMG/Celtic game at their place, you can see the normal away end and there was a small block next to the away fans which had Celtic fans in. At first, I thought they had bought tickets in the home end as close to the away fans as they could, but seems this is the same 'neutral' part you're talking about.

You can see on the picture here the normal away end and where the fans next to them are celebrating their goal and with their flags etc.
