A constant queue of cars at MacDonalds - Am I missing out on something?

When I think of a queue outside I think of loads of fatties in the drive through revving their mobility scooters and drooling.

I used to work for Commercial Property surveyors and the way McD's dealt with potential franchisees was interesting.
They had to pay for a viabilty study, carried out by McD's, before signing the contract.

In the contract McD's would monitor profits, if the outlet wasn't performing, McD had the right to buy back, the thinking being if it wasn't working to poitential shown in the viabilty study then it was the franchisees fauly and the 'brand' could not be seen to be underporming at the risk of underming future business.

Guess thats just good business practice really but it surprised me at the time

He doesn't. Unless you class once every 6 years keep doing it
Well yeah, I guess that depends on how old he/she is. But if you do it once and don't enjoy it, you maybe do it again in case the first time was just a bad experience, but if you don't enjoy it the second time...

In Durham City they have a Mc Conalds at a shopping center called the Arnison center. There is only 1 road in & out of said shopping center. Now the other day whilst driving the bus I got stuck in the q for 25 minutes. There was a girl with a board out saying 2 hours wait from this point for Mc Donalds. I shit you not the q went on for another 200 yards beyond this sign.
People were happy to queue up for over 2 hours for 'fast food'?

Going for a McShit
When you go into McDonalds for the sole purpose of using the bathroom.

Please note: If challenged by the spotty staff member, then your declaration that you will buy food afterwards is a McShit with Lies
I'm going for a McShit

There are a few that have coded locks on the toilets (which you can only get from a receipt) now to prevent unwanted users. Vaguely recall it was the one next to Cabot Circus in Bristol that I discovered this.

I don't blame them tbh.

The outrage is it being marketed as a treat (either subconsciously or not) I'll serve you shit food at relatively extortionate prices and your kids will love you more. It is travel food that hit on kids, like little chef mainlining 3 day old sausage into the arms of our children

That's business i'm afraid. It is our own responsibility to educate our children about good or bad life choices.

The main point i was making that the quality of the meat isn't bad. That doesn't mean the food offered is healthy though.
The amount of hidden sugars and other things in other menu items isn't good. If that is the only food people are eating, then it will affect their health.

MSG has to be added to sausage meat. We have gotten so used to it being there that sausage now tastes wrong if it is removed. Even some amatuer sausage/burger groups i've visited still add it even though they are supposed to be promoting cooking non processed food.

Some people just don't like big business, and take every opportunity to slag them off.
I don't go with these types. I make my own mind up and actually take the time to do some research if needed.

My favourite one liner about Apple products as being "overpriced tat" for example.
I could agree with overpriced to a certain extent, but "tat"?
I found their products tend to to do what you want, very well. They tend to be very easy to use. So the software and back up has value that people never want to include when making comparisons.

Near to me there is a Starbucks and during the lockdown (which in Florida only lasted about a week) the queue was f u cking huge and I'm thinking you lazy twats. Make the coffee at home
I lived in Kissimmee for a few years and driving to the office in the morning we noticed a drive thru Starbucks being built, I thought that will never work, couldn't believe the queues in the morning when it was finished, I should have put my money into one of those instead of the sign shop.

Are you sure mate? I just checked the ingredients of packs of 'Breakfast Pork Patties' from Tesco and Aldi. Neither have MSG and both taste very similar to McD's.
