A constant queue of cars at MacDonalds - Am I missing out on something?

The last ever burger left at the McDonald’s in Iceland before it Shut was put in a museum and still hasn’t gone mouldy after 10 years or so , goes to show what shit is in it86093E59-820F-43F1-B396-ABB42F419C4D.jpeg

That's business i'm afraid. It is our own responsibility to educate our children about good or bad life choices.

The main point i was making that the quality of the meat isn't bad. That doesn't mean the food offered is healthy though.
The amount of hidden sugars and other things in other menu items isn't good. If that is the only food people are eating, then it will affect their health.

MSG has to be added to sausage meat. We have gotten so used to it being there that sausage now tastes wrong if it is removed. Even some amatuer sausage/burger groups i've visited still add it even though they are supposed to be promoting cooking non processed food.

Some people just don't like big business, and take every opportunity to slag them off.
I don't go with these types. I make my own mind up and actually take the time to do some research if needed.

My favourite one liner about Apple products as being "overpriced tat" for example.
I could agree with overpriced to a certain extent, but "tat"?
I found their products tend to to do what you want, very well. They tend to be very easy to use. So the software and back up has value that people never want to include when making comparisons.
What does MSG taste of?

Pretty sure something changed with the shake recipes and they're now vile. Had one last year and can still taste it. And the soggy straw. Killed my liking for them immediately.
I think most commercial recipes go through progressions of change, maybe for shelf life, fiscal restraint or general overall improvement of a product. I do agree with the milkshake having altered as there's not enough discernible aftertaste of a banana anymore, but they still remain lush thick and creamy. Part of the fun has to be getting that thick elixir of life from out of a cup with or without the aid of their naff soggy straws. There's a saying in life taken from T. Bert Lance back in 1977 who said .. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Talking about the quality of the meat a friend of mine worked for Mars and at the time they were paying more for meat slurry for their cat and dog food than McDonald's . All cat and dog food has to be fit for human consumption Mars employees taste the food every week to make sure it was up to standard he preferred the Twix tasting. He reckoned Burger King was better quality. After a while Macdonalds sourced their meat slurry from South America l l rarely eat them
